Spring Is Around The Corner !

 

The sign of spring appears more and more now as I have seen and heard our Robins return and the male Cardinal is singing his mating song . The birds are all happy and chirping more and some critters have appeared  from the woods ! 

The Tundra Swans are making their spring flight for Migration to another cold climate  and the Canadian geese are looking for spring homes .

                                      I think the Goose here flying with the Swans is a bit confused !

The sun sets are getting later and temps are getting warmer ! The Moon shines bright as it rises early in the evening and becomes ever changing through out the new season !

                                         

            As buds on trees and bushes start to form ! As all that was dormant come’s to life once more !

Having Fun !

 

Once I get out there and start taking photos I get so lost in each and every moment of taking photos especially when it is nice and sunny and nature is posing for me  and all in our back yard! It gives me a chance to practice and enjoy nature as well . Here are a few of  my favourite's  from the hundred or so photos I took today !

We have so many different breeds of birds here . I have counted so far 15 different breeds we have visit our feeders . We also have lots of critters , Cottontail bunny's , Squirrels and chipmunks and the odd Possum and  Raccoon and I have photos of every single one them .The only animals I need to get photos of are the Deer that come around but they are tricky to capture as they are so skittish  but like all the other animals I will capture them in a photo one day always up for a challenge taking photos of nature ! Just full of nature here and I love it !

Playing In The Sun

 

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day calm winds and brilliant blue  clear sky's not a cloud in sight all day ! The temp was fresh and crisp !

                                                          Our Miggs just love’s the snow !

                       She was busy sniffing out a squirrel so I took some birdie photos !

       We have our own bird sanctuary here all year round a total of 12 or more breeds visit our feeders all at the same time , some are skittish and some like this little guy just likes to strike a pose ! I have photos of all the breeds that visit here !

                       House Sparrow soaking up the warmth of the sun in the hedges !

         Mr Blue jay waiting for me to leave so he can dive in the bowl of peanuts !

Ice Drips

 

             It must of dripped off of the roof and froze in mid splashed on the window sill !

Snow Day

 

Woke this morning to snow falling and as I write this it is still falling  It looks so pretty out there . We had no snow on the ground now it is deep with snow !
