Butterfly’s Every Where

Sunday we had lots of rain and thunderstorms . April showers bring May flowers , and the birth of hundreds of butterfly’s. They were all over the place when the storms finally stopped and the sun peeked out just a few hours before it was to set !

Here is some great info about the red admiral butterflies. Looks like a massive northward migration this year. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1163931--tidal-wave-of-butterflies-hits-eastern-canada

We had large amounts of red admiral butterflies blown up in Ontario with the storms a couple of weeks ago. You captured some great photos.
