This Coopers Hawk has been hanging around the yard .
Waiting patiently for his supper that are at the feeders !
Or for his supper to run by !
All kinds of birds and critters hang out in our yard . We live in a valley and have forest all around and a river running through and are lucky to have all this beautiful nature right out our door !
Our Miggs lay's on her swing as she hangs out in the back yard and watches the goings on !

It was a mild frosty misty morning over our valley as the sun was rising !.
Yesterdays warm temps melted some of the snow and formed a dewy fog and it had froze over night creating a hoarfrost !
Frost formed on everything making it all sparkle and look so pretty !
As the sun was rising in the south east the moon was setting in the south west !
I love how the sun rise shines on the moon as it is setting !
The Eastern Blue birds have returned as have the Robins .The purple / pink back ground in some of these photos is caused by the sun rise reflecting in the damp atmosphere of the sky .
Canada Geese flying over on their way to the river down in the valley !
Some berries in our tree all covered in frost crystals !

Layering photos can make for very interesting and lovely pictures !
I took the land scape photo and Ken took a reflection of the clock photo and combined them through layering the two photos in Photo shop ,

Yup my kind of sign of spring .
The Robins returned yesterday and there were lots in our tree !
They were flying here and there picking at the berries , I counted 15 robins when all was said and done ! They are here to stay as I saw a few fly into our hedges for the night and saw them again in the berry tree this morning !
It may of been Ground hog day here yesterday and I don’t know if he saw his shadow or not but these guys are my sign of spring !
Makes me HAPPY,HAPPY, HAPPY !

The temps here have been very mild 2ºC or 35ºF in the day , that is quite warm for us after all the frigid temps last month . It rained most of Saturday and today a very faint snow falling then it cleared up and the sun has been popping in and out . Miggs and I went for our daily morning walk . Then we came home and I took photos . Lots of the snow has or is melting thanks goodness .

Almost all melted now but the Cedars look pretty with sticky snow on them !
