Nectar From The Sky’s

 

It has been hot humid and dry for about a week now and we were hoping for rain a few times but it never came till today !

                        I love taking rain  photos ! Everything looks so fresh and happy !

                 Rain drops are forming on everything and I like to capture them !

                                                  Mist forming in the valley forest over the river !

Some birds taking cover under our porch from the heavy rains and thunderstorm !

                  So much rain our down pipes and eves troves  couldn’t handle the over flow !

            But all is singing as the rains come down and are happy for Mother Natures nectar from the sky’s !

                                                      Back yard !

This little guy love’s to toy with me when I am taking his photo !

There’s a lot more nature this time of year here  and I am out every day  camera in hand trying to capture it all !

A Pileated Woodpecker , rare to see them down here in Southern Ontario as they are mostly in the northern parts  but I enjoyed his visit !

                                                      Lots of visits by the birdies to the fountain !

                                              Our Miggs loves playing with the sprinkler !

                                                        Tomorrow is the first day of

                                                                          Summer  ! WOOHOO !!

Raindrops & Dewdrops

 

I like taking photos of rain drops and dew drops on flowers  the grass  or just about anything it will stick to. The purity of each drop of water as it takes shape and forms it’s self  to it subject  is amazing !

Natures Nectar From the Sky’s

 

I like taking photos of the rain drops during and after the rains .

The light shines through the rain drops ever so perfectly  giving them that silvery glow .

                                    Droplets just sit on the leaves in different shapes and forms !

                                     As plants , flowers and bushes perk up in happiness !

                                                             Like little jewels of  goodness !

                           For the rains bring life to the lands and all creatures great and small !

Nature’s Spring Surprises

 

The blooms have been popping every where from gardens , fields,  road sides to river banks  .

This tiny little bee on the leaf at the left looks to be in his glory and doesn’t know what to do with all those flowers or which one to pick first . Decisions, decisions !

Fields full of every colour of green you can think of as long grasses sway in the warm breeze .

                                    Wasps frantically gathering nectar from wild flowers !

                       To birds stopping and taking a break from the business of nesting !

                                           And cooling off from a hot humid day !

                                                              As  tiny wild daisies reach for the sun !

                              To puppy dogs keeping an eye on the back yard critters !

Spring is full of new and exciting colour and life and I love to get out there and capture as much as I can !
