MY WALK IN THE WOODS

                                               This bridge is down the street from us ! It crosses over the Otter river  

                                                                 that   runs  through our village Vienna Ontario

                                                         "Vienna is a small village of 566 residents in the Otter Valley"

                                    There were hundreds of these little guys all around me, it was amazing.

CLOUDS

Have you ever just laid on the grass and looked up at the sky watching the clouds roll by, seeing what shapes you see in them , how fluffy and light they seem. I find clouds beautiful and free, gently blowing by in the breeze .

I like to photograph  clouds and trees .

The sun was shining through the branches.

PORT BURWELL , A PIECE OF HISTORY!

We found this  old photo of our harbour  in the small town of Port Burwell Ontario Canada off of lake Erie. We think its from the  early 1900’s  . They used to bring coal from Pennsylvania ! Port Burwell was named after Colonel  Mahlon  Burwell in 1811. The light house in Port Burwell was built in 1840 making it the oldest light house on the north shore of lake Erie and one of the oldest wooden light houses in Canada !

BIRDS IN FLIGHT

We live near a bird sanctuary and we get lots of different breeds in our back yard. We enjoy watching them and have many feeders out for them with their favourite foods.
